Christmas Candy

Tales from Pollycraft are bringing out some gorgeous new clear stamps (which wont be available till the end of the month) and they are giving them away FREE in the form of Christmas Candy.
There are 2 full sets to be won and 3 runner up prizes of £5 to spend in their shop.

I have quite a few of their digi stamps, my favourite being the Cherry Kisses range, so it's great to see the new stuff before it goes on the shelf so to speak. To be in with a chance of getting your hands on these goodies, click on either of the pictures on on the link near the top of this post.
Good luck all of you

Polly Cat

I couldn't resist making another challenge card today. It fells a bit decadent as I would usually be at work at this time.

Sketch and Stash gave us a sketch to work with and Pollycraft challenge asked us to make a card with a furry animal on it.

The image that I have used is from Pollycrafts Cherry Kisses range and the papers were free with a crafting magazine. I love lace on cards so I had a bit of a dig around in my stash to see what looked good. The theme is almost monotone with splashes of pink to warm it up. I have edged the whole card in black in using an ink pad to finish it off. I'm wishing that I had done the same with the dotty panel too, but ho hum. Too late now lol.
Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday everyone.

Princess Button

This is my first challenge card for Moving Along With the Times. For challenge 5 - Cute as a button - we were given this sketch. We had to use at least one button as part of the design and this is what I came up with.
The image is from Pollycrafts - Cherry Kisses range. The dotty background paper is from Dandelion and Daisy. The flowery paper was free on a magazine and the buttons are from the Early Learning Centre.

I've got a secret

This is another recipe challenge card from me. This time for SCSC. The recipe this time was 3 buttons, 2 papers and 1 ribbon.

The buttons came from the Early learning centre (yup the toy shop), the papers were free on a couple of magazines and the ribbon is one of many in my ribbon drawer. I love this image. It is a digi stamp from Pollycraft Designs. It is one of many I have from the Cherry Kisses range. I've had the paper flowers for a while now and I can't remember who makes them.

Pretty Polly

This is my first card for the challenges over at Pollycraft Monday Challenge I was lucky enough to win some of their stamps a few weeks ago and this is the first card I have made using them.

The challenge was to include arrows in the design. After a bit of thought I came up with this. The colours are not very vibrant in this photo, but you should be able to get the idea. I turned the stamp at an angle to form the arrow with the stalk. The image was printed in yellow ink and I then coloured the image with Whispers brush pens.
